CO2 is said to be "food for plants:" but too much of it is poison
Amongst my mail today: two views of CO2...
the other being:
https://irrationalfear.substack.com/p/rethinking-co2
...The piece is a paean to "increased yields" and "increased
productivity" - yet there is total absence of any mention
of "increased mineral uptake', of the nutritional value of CO2 forced
higher yields (That is, no mention in the 'free'/non-paying section
that, at the moment, i've restricted myself to (sampling)...
OK. So the plants get to bedeck themselves in more leafage etc, but
what about the animals, birds and bugs that feed on them, what about
the health of those who consume them ?
Plant's ability to absorb micro-nutrients/minerals is inhibited by
artificial fertilizers, and glyphosate products...
Declining nutritional levels in plant foods has been suggested to be a
main cause of the 0besity Pandemic...
People are eating more foods that contain less nutrition; "Obesity is a
disease of starvation."...So more foods with less nutritional levels means
more chronic diseases...
The piece is marred by extolling quantity without regard to quality..
